I'm a total addict of it and the book. I could quote a dozen lines that I love. It's such an elegant and sad way of saying that the magic has seemed to have left the world, and that there is no more place for unicorns. It nearly makes me cry even after seeing it countless times.

This is the movie I most vividly remember. Even though I am all grown up now, fragments of this beautiful film have lived in the back of my mind the whole time. When all the lost unicorns are brought back from the sea on the crest of a wave, and when the Last Unicorn, at the end of her quest, returns to the forest she left, I was crying like I was 5 again.
